This board has been "archived" in lieu of a new set of boards: Bible Questions, Bible Discussion and Bible Teaching. Most of the threads in this board will be moved into the new boards.
The new boards work like this:
Bible Questions: All questions should be first posted in the Bible Questions board. Some clarification or links to already existing Bible studies are permissible as followup posts, but generally this board should be simply limited to questions pertaining to the Bible, or to life in general... but that should have a Biblical answer.
Bible Discussion: Questions can be "pulled" (quoted) from the Bible Questions board into the Bible Discussion board in order to be discussed by the men that use this forum. If you are a woman and wish to discuss a Bible study topic, you are not permitted to do so on this forum. There are MANY other places where this is possible for you to do, so please abide our rules. On 7xS let the discussion of Bible topics and the teaching of spiritual things be left to the men. It may be politically or culturally incorrect, so be it. If you do not have access to the Bible Discussion board and wish to ask a further question about a topic being discussed, you may do so in the Bible Questions board. If you cannot post in the Bible Discussion board, it is because you have not been added to the Bible Discussion member group. Please PM me in order to be added... include phone number in your PM so I can "meet" you.
Bible Teaching: This is a board that requires its members to be men and to have completed three Bible Studies (not necessarily on 7xSunday) which have been adequately discussed, poked, prodded and analyzed on the Bible Discussion board as to stand the test other students. The requirement that the members be men has nothing to do with the research or study skills of women vs. men nor does it reflect on the intellectual, ethical, moral, etc capacity of women vs. men. It is a simple reflection of our understanding from the text of the Bible that women in righteous standing and without sin can still be deceived in places (spiritual things in particular) where men in the same righteous standing cannot.
