Why do you change the KJV word "wife" to "woman" and why would you say that a woman should cleave to the husband when the Bible says that a man should cleave to his wife?

Yeah... both good points. We need to make a couple changes...

Gabe-
Your first post in the "Biblical Marriage and the idea of Headship" discussion has an outline at the end that is done in a VERY light color and is hard to read. This might just be my computer, or there might be some reason for this I don't know about? But I kinda wanted to read the outline and was having a hard time. Is there anything I can do to remedy the situation?  Smiley

Never mind! I realized that I could just high lite by clicking and scrolling over it. Don't know why I didn't think about that in the first place  Roll Eyes.

Ok, Hubby said he doesn't get this either...

Why is polygamy any different from adultery?  When you vow2 before God and family to cleve to only one another as long as you both live...Why is it suddenly ok to break that vow?

We can't listen to the teachings yet-no sound-so I gotta ask  Wink

I am complete with you on this.

I am under the impression that the verse in Gen that states the "two shall be one"  only means two, not three or more, but two.  Also that the man to the woman, and the woman to the man, not otherwise, would also be the standard.  I don't really see the confusion here.
