I'm seeing it.  It's a beautiful, colorful, cloudy Western sky.

 I miss seeing this sight.

Hmm, this isn't the first thread where other people have been able to see a picture that I couldn't... I must have something blocking it.  Sorry Andiclare!

Here's another one for good measure.  Wink

Beautiful, andiclare!
I used to live in the southwest and while it's really not the place for me, the one thing I miss the most is the beautiful sunset.

Ok, first of all, I apologize if I sound like a complete idiot for the following questions. I really do want to learn this stuff, so I figure this is the best place to ask.

All these terrible things that are going to be happening...is that the Great Tribulation? What is the difference between the Tribulation and the Great Tribulation? I always thought that it would be a total of 7 years, the Great Tribulation being the latter half, thus 3.5 years, then Jesus returns. Am I totally off on this?

Also, after these things happen (widespread destruction), the point of being in an inaccessible area is because someone will be coming after Christians, I assume? Who?

I know I am not supposed to worry, but I do. Any insight would be much appreciated.

Edited to add: One more question...
Does anyone here believe that the push for this healthcare reform with standardized electronic records and so forth, possibly leading to an eventual implantable "ID chip"...is the mark of the beast? If not, what do you think is the mark of the beast? I know this is a lot of questions, but I can't get all this out of my head and if this is all really going to happen very soon, then I really want to know all I can!

I would also be interested in the answer to her questions....

My quick reply: there is no "rapture" that I can see in the text of the Bible, only a "catching away" on the day that Christ appears after Jacob's trouble, the reign of the anti-Christ, and the out-pouring of the wrath of God... ie, what most end-times teachers call, "the tribulation". In other words... that time is upon us, and we will all have to walk it as I see it... and God's call is, come out of her (Mystery Babylon) my people... this in specific context of not taking the mark, the number and the name of, evidently, the same.

Anyway, maybe you could post this as a question in the Bible Discussion board.

Is there a defined difference in a 'rapture' vs. 'catching away' (as you see it)?  They sound the same to me....   (Maybe this question should be in Bible Discussion?)

Question...

I imagine the cell phone coverage may be poor in the mountains once away from a city.  Are there any cellular providers that cover better than others?  I know it depends on the place, but let's say, the High Desert areas of NW New Mexico / SW Colorado.  Wink
Are the residential satellite phones common? Any other means or technologies?

Thanks

Maybe the commercials are actually right... Verizon is hands down the best in our area.

I read a post on here about a man from N. Arizona, regarding a cancer risk due to location.  Well, my dad has a book containing the testimonies of all these people that lived in Utah during the nuclear test sites in the 50's.  Radioactivity for real.  Its horrifiying and true.  These people were mutilated and suffer silently, mostly low income mormans just trying to live and raise their families, you wouldn't believe it how sad the stories are, cancer, leukeimia, reproductive system destruction, I never heard of any of it before this book.
I don't know if its possible for the area to still be contaminated, but I worry myself for I spent 2 months of my life in a wilderness recovery program in S. Utah.
