How did you find this out?? I am just catching the last 10 minutes...
Ditto! How do you find out if they're having a Q&A? (besides the regular weekly one) Can you sign up for an email notification or something?

Hey, I have signed up as a "follower" and I don't get email notifications.
That's okay, though, because I frequently just go there to watch. Not like anything new would sneak up on me.

Same here! But it would be nice to get notifications in our regular inbox and not have to log in on ustream. I couldn't find a way to make that happen though.

If I'm not mistaken, today will be another Q&A session at 2pm CST. At least that's what they said at the end of the last one. I cannot figure out how to "follow" on ustream, it just does nothing when I click it. Is there another way to get email notifications?

FYI, it's on right now 1:30 cst...they must have changed the time.
editing to add, I think I'm watching a taped session.

I know, I got on "early" so I could type in a question and it was already finished. Oh, well, it was interesting, anyways(as always)

Hi!
Is there any more information on any of the online bible studies that were mentioned when NGJ first started doing the UStream?
Can't find the original posts about it.
Thanks!

You'll have to click "Older" to see the Bible Q & A.... I guess it will be available for a week or so....
Questions asked:
Quote
-Were Adam and Eve commanded to be Vegetarians?
-Wine: What is it in the Bible and is it a sin?
-1 Corinthians 11:10.. what is the Power? And should women wear headcoverings?
-Ezekial 9:6 Who are the ancient men?
-Does "Obey Your Own Husband" trump all other commands for women? Can a wife respectfully refuse a man when he says "Go to work and leave the kids in daycare/public school?"
- When do we confront a brother? Galatians 6:1
-Numbers in the Bible...please explain how to a beginner can start studying
-Why do children become possessed by the devil.
- Borrowing/Giving money to other christians? Pastors asking for money?

I think the way it is going to work is that the Q&A's or sermons or whatever will be available for viewing for one week from the record date for free. After that they will be archived and available for purchase. I don't think they have made any of the older things available yet, and I have not read anywhere what they will charge.
This is definitely a GREAT thing to have available! I have often wondered what MP thought about some things, and now, it's like having direct access to asking him! I am about to go watch the 50 Sins Part 4. I thought part 3 was VERY good...the one on lust for the most part. He did a good job of explaining to the gals how us guys perceive their dress etc.

umm, sorry mommak but I'm not sure if its up or not because I don't have access to internet in my home. I use the mobile web to chat here, but I can't access videos or things like that. When I want to see a video or podcast we take the laptop to somewhere that has wireless and pay to watch it. So my question about whether it was up and available was about whether we could do that or not. Sorry for seemingly silly question.

Hey! No sorry's needed.
I was just making sure the link worked.
And yes, there are 3 messages available. Have no idea when they will be taken down....

Does anyone know if MP is still doing the Q&A sessions? The last one I see on NGJ is from early January.

I have been thoroughly enjoying these. I sit down with my Bible and take notes. I think I've seen all that are currently on the site. What a great blessing that they would share with the world!
