The big problem with a Red Sea crossing is that it has to fit several requirements:
1) Has to be close enough to Egypt to reach in the time specified
2) Has to be far enough from Egypt that the crossing effectively removed them from any future Egyptian military threats
3) The water has to be deep enough to thoroughly drown the Egyptian arm
4) The water has to be shallow enough for a wind to be instrumental in moving it out of the way
The geography also has to match the description in Exodus.
1) The Israelites had to be hemmed in with no escape except across the sea
2) The Egyptian army had to be kept away by the pillar of fire
Here's quite an extensively researched chart of the Exodus locations, with a Red Sea crossing I hadn't heard of before: the Straits of Tiran.
