You don't have time. The problem is that no one is sure where any of these sites are. Well, some people have themselves pretty convinced, but . . .
I'm still waiting for The Exodus Conspiracy movie to be released . . .

Yeah... that movie looks interesting... I also think that there are enough clues in the text itself to get a pretty good idea of the map. Heh... and yes, I am well aware that there are a lot of guesses that seem obviously wrong for many reasons. Anyway, the cool thing about my map is that people could argue it out vehemently right here... lol.

If there are any interested, I would make a board specifically for this project... a thread per location.

I am also working on a "timeline" board... that will translate posts in a particular format to events on a dynamic timeline (pray for that programmer...).

Is there another thread that this was originally discussed?  A map of what?

Would this be men only?

@Joyfulmomto9: A map of Biblical places... something like http://www.openbible.info/geo/  or http://www.biblemap.org/ but with a way to discuss the locations, and propose alternates.

Also look at these sites:
http://blog.bibleplaces.com/

@ Ridgerunner: No, it would be a board like the translation board... open to all that have the knack.

Accordance Bible Software sells a Bible atlas that looks like it might appeal to some of the posters on this thread.

The big problem with a Red Sea crossing is that it has to fit several requirements:
1) Has to be close enough to Egypt to reach in the time specified
2) Has to be far enough from Egypt that the crossing effectively removed them from any future Egyptian military threats
3) The water has to be deep enough to thoroughly drown the Egyptian arm
4) The water has to be shallow enough for a wind to be instrumental in moving it out of the way

The geography also has to match the description in Exodus.
1) The Israelites had to be hemmed in with no escape except across the sea
2) The Egyptian army had to be kept away by the pillar of fire

Here's quite an extensively researched chart of the Exodus locations, with a Red Sea crossing I hadn't heard of before: the Straits of Tiran.

Was this a reply to some other thread? If so I can move it...

...anyway, I find the crossing ideas of Ron Wyatt et al more likely... and the alleged finding of the memorial pillars placed by Solomon is amazing, however the calendar this guy (the one you linked, AndysDad) is also an amazing work... and would fit either route (obviously... it fits the correct route... heh).

I couldn't find an estimated release date or find it for sale. Does anyone know where or when this will be out? Or maybe I just missed the info?

It was you I was quoting in the 'OP', Gabe, but I can't remember where you moved it from. The google earth view of some rock formations in the Andes, I think.

In regards to Exodus movies....which may be off topic here, but we watched one not too long ago called The Exodus Revealed.  It was VERY interesting and we enjoyed it.  It uses lots of Scripture to "locate" the place of the red sea crossing, with lots of interesting details, such as coral formations in the shape of chariot wheels.  We got it from Netflix.
