[Homeschool_Newbie]

Ladies! I am really enjoying this new book www.raisingrealmen.com  I really encourage you to visit the website and read the sample chapter. It was written by a homeschool family with 6 boys and 2 girls.  I am absolutely loving the perspective they have on boys, and they homeschool to boot! This book would make a great online discussion....  Let me know if you want to start a chat. I'm only a few chapters into it, and would already like to quote a lot of good stuff!

Also, please pray for the father, Hal, who has cancer, and the youngest daughter who has a heart condition. There is more information about this on their blog.

Khurtsmom- I have been thinking I need to review this book It really was an encouragement to me. I never had any brothers, and I have 4 boys ( maybe 5 if the new baby is a boy ) Anyway, no offense to Dr. Dobson, but this book was even better than his. This family lives where you and I live everyday. There's nothing like a " been there done that" homeschooling family to show the way. Anyway, I read the book really fast, and now it's time for a review.   I am sure you will really enjoy it. Let me know what you think I'd love to hear your thoughts.

I can't wait to get a hold of it, I read the preview chapter (6) on here before going over to a friends house and my oldest and their oldest literally replayed what I had read, So my attention has been caught. I can't wait to read it, I've got 3 boys, so not as many as you do but as you know, enough to need a little guidance and direction when crazy things come up
