Hello 7x friends

Just touching bases. We are continuing to bask in the goodness of the Lord: Michelle is still cancer free! I realize that I just dropped off the face of the world wide web.... I'm just not an Internet kind of guy and after Michelle recuperated from her surgery, I couldn't just sit on the computer when there is so much to do.

So anywase, I enjoyed the fellowship and it came during a very trying time in my life.

Gabe, I have been doing some exploits and have often wondered what your thoughts would be. If you could read 30 to 60 seconds of bible on secular radio stations (with no advertisements etc.) just scripture that brings glory to God, what would they be?

Dear Larry & Michelle,

I am so glad you posted!  It seems strange to consider online folks we have never personally met as "friends" (and even "family"!) - but I was just thinking about your family the other day and said a prayer for you all.  So glad Michelle is doing well!!  Hope your little ones are enjoying the summer...

By the way, thank you for updating ~ I am sure we are not the only ones who have missed you!

Wow, Larry, it is so good to *see* you again! I have wondered several times over the past year how you guys are doing. I'm so glad to hear that Michele is well!

I see your question to Gabe and I'll ask him... oh, here he comes...

love,
Beka

Gabe says: I would say this, most importantly, figure out what the passage you want to read really means. Figure out exactly what it means. Pray to God that the Spirit would tell you what it means. Then figure out (pray) how to read it with that meaning infused in your intent toward the hearers.
About which passages...this phrase comes to mind "little red words." I love the whole text, but to me, the ones I love the most are the words of Jesus. But anyway, that is what comes to mind, that it isn't for me to say, because it is your task, and your "joy" before God. And for you to ask God and believe, and that he will by his Spirit explain to you exactly what you should read. It is important that you don't read them like a preacher, but like a father talking to his son, or a brother talking to his little brother... with love and the intention to communicate clearly. Any way, those are my thoughts...

t's great “seeing” you guys again.
It's 12:45 and I'm still up, LOL..., but I just wanted to mention one thing that some of you may find interesting: look up Fibonacci sequence, or the golden ratio in the context of Rom 1:20.

God bless, Larry

Thank you for the update.  I have wondered about you all too and have even had the desire to PM you but did not feel it appropriate for whatever reason, so it is so wonderful that you have thought to post. Cheesy

What a gift you all have been given to continue to be together on this earth! Smiley
