Hello I would like to introduce myself. I read often on here because my wife is a member. Some interesting threads here. I would like to join in on an occasional conversation. So I hope I can add something of value. I am 44 and been married for over 20 years. Three children, one grand child. I work in construction and have done that for over 20 years also.

I guess I'm kinda slow at poking through this site! I never saw this one until tonight...so, I guess it's time to introduce myself!

I live in the Northeast Kingdom of VT with my wonderful hubby and four of our six children - the two oldest are out on their own but  Gabrielle, Hannah, Matthias And Christine are here with us: 7, 6, 4, and 16 mos. (We also have 4 in Heaven from miscarriages.) I learned about 7Xsunday on welltellme, which was a favorite spot until I discovered 7xsunday! Oh, and we have one grandchild (5 mos old) but he's almost 4 hours away.

I must say I LOVE this site!  Grin
thanks Gabriel and Beka for starting it!!

Hi, I'm a stay-at-home homeschooling mom, married to Franz, a definite Mr. Steady whom I could learn much from if I would just become pliable enough to be taught (working on that.)  We have five children ages 9 - 1 and four whom I never got to hold in my arms.  I've wanted to introduce myself for a while, but before I got down to typing this out I had this idea of giving a humorous, intelligent, well-written little speech I could be  proud of, and I just couldn't come up with something I thought was good enough.  Then I heard a message about not hiding behind a mask of what I would like others to think of me and rather just be who I am up front.  That has been so liberating in so many ways.  I'm still not 100% comfortable being "me", but God is working wonderful changes in my life and I'm learning to walk by faith.

HI!  I am new here and I actually found this site through a "naysayer"s website!  Cheesy
I am married to Mr. Steady(with strong traits from the other groups) and I have a son 10 and daughter 51/2. I homeschool, but recently my daughter started attending a montessori kindy a few times a week. Still not sure how I feel about that.....We do not have a home church yet, but I hope one day to be connected into one! I am here mainly to learn ( I really need to!), ask questions, and give opinions  Roll Eyes hehehe

I should have done this a long time ago. Sorry I'm kind of slow sometimes. Welcome Timothy Kiss Kiss Kiss Kiss                                                                                                                                                           (ROFLOL! Wow, I'm really slow this morning. When I saw  your welcome to Michael, I was scandalized... all those kissy faces! What was the woman thinking??? Then I realized you're his wife.     Man, I need to rest my brain a while...

Yes, welcome Michael! We're so glad you have joined us... although with Lisa's story of your journey of faith, we feel like we already know you. Hope to see you both around here more and more.

And Lisa... remember to qualify your kisses next time!  Quote from Rebekah)

By the way those are qualified kisses. He's my hubby!!! (He's gonna shake his head and think I'm more nuts than he already does.)
   See ya around Tim!

Hello, everyone! My name is Debbie. I found this site through Well Tell Me. I would love to get to know you all, though I don't have tons of time to spend here. I enjoy the wisdom God has given you and I am blessed to learn from your experiences. He is teaching me so much!

I have a blog that I truly hope you'll visit: http://hoffmannclan.blogspot.com. God has led my husband and me to love orphans. Here's a little of our story:

We have been married for nearly 9 years. The Lord has made it clear that His perfect plan for our family is to adopt children who need a papa and a mama. He has not blessed us with children in the "natural" way, with the exception of Noah, who was a tubal pregnancy in March. What a blessing to have a sweet child in the presence of the Lord, and to know that God is powerful enough to give us such a gift when we were told we would likely not conceive on our own.

This summer we hosted a 13-year-old girl from Ukraine in our home. Another huge blessing and learning experience. We are starting the process to adopt her and any other children the Lord makes a way for us to adopt. It is a long road, and I would like to ask you all to pray for us--thank you for your prayers!

God isn't finished with me yet,
Debbie

Thank you txseawater! Smiley You're right--it's Him. He has been leading us and changing our hearts...it has been such a journey. And now He's asking us to trust Him with funds for our home and just living as well as adoption--this ought to be quite a ride, and we're excited to see what He will do. And the children will only benefit from His goodness, as we experience each day. I'm glad you'll be visiting our blog. Enjoy the journey!

Debbie: Hope you don't mind if I get to see your story a bit? I love children, especially the adopted ones!! Am hoping and praying God will lead me to adopt someday, but for now I'm planning on supporting those that do through prayer and scheduled and upcoming Oct 4th is a sweet pastor coming to speak about his vision for the homeless children...it should be amazing....I can't wait to see this through!! I hope that you will still be on this site so we can chat about adoption!!! Love, Anne

As if posing for a pictography:  Grin I sure like to do  Grin, alot!! Hi! My name is Anne, out of Arizona, and I love the desert, it's cozy!! I look forward to things that are out of reach....like heaven-stuff.  By around 13 I was given a message about love. It has strangely transformed my anthropics. But I have God as a hobby. I will usually try and be on here so I can pray for you all, that is my felt special calling to this site.  Be aware of great things, because God can do more than you can see, and he can bring rain in a desert!!!! Got to trust A God like that!!! I have a love of Spanish language, and I'm doing a research paper this year in school. I like that I'm doing some projects and had many life experiences at only 23 years of age. I am with no boy yet. Maybe God will do something  about that? Cheesy And I do hope to get to know you better though!! All of you!! PS I heard of WTM through the Pearls, heard of the Pearls and their home-teaching since my Aunt was training her boys...still is! ...but yeah, that's how I stumbled on Rebekah's Diary,  the book she wrote as a result of her work in Guinea west Africa. Got into contact with Rebekah, while ago, but lost touch. Hoping to get back into touch!! Smiley Love you bekah, and all!!

Hello-
I am the wife of the most handsome man in the universe, sorry ladies he's taken, and the momma of three boys, 4, 2  1/2 and 5 months.  We are a home school family and I am a first generation christian. (Also a former feminist)

When I am not busy cleaning, making meals and yelling "IF YOU DROP THAT DOWN THE TOILET, IT WILL CLOG" or "NO YOU MAY NOT TAKE RAW EGGS OUTSIDE TO BREAK ON THE SIDEWALK" or "....BECAUSE SOMEONE COULD STEAL YOU..." I am a birth doula!  I love it!

I love having all these boys, but do admit I struggle a bit with training, and with a fear that they will not know the Lord.  I would really like to set up some type of group for mommies with all boys for hope, laughs, prayers and ideas!  This world needs Godly men, and I want to be a part of that.

Nice to meet all you fine Christian folks, and love the advice and ideas I get from reading on here and WTM and NGJ.  As a first generation Christian I struggle with raising my children in a Godly way, and the ideas on here are so awesome!  Thanks, Blessing to you all!

Hi My name is Lori, I found this sight while searching on the internet I firmly believe God put it right in my face!! And I am so glad He did!! I have so enjoyed reading someof the threads. I feel so encouraged already!!
That being said, I have been married to the love of my life for 6 years now. We have 4 beautiful children. Morgan 4 1/2, Emma 3, Rebekah 15months, and Noah 6weeks old today. I have the pleasure of being able to stay at home with them. We do homeschool.  My girls are wonderful little helpers and jump at the chance to show me what they can do. Even Rebekah tries so hard. Noah was born 4 1/2 weeks premature. So he had a bit of a rough start but all in all he is a healthy baby boy. Just a bit small Smiley
I look forward to getting to know you all. Thank You so much for creating this group!!
