Hey everyone!

My name is Charlotte. I've been lurking around for a couple of weeks, and am excited to finally "be a part" of it all!

I'm a New Zealander (would love to hear from the other kiwis on here!!) and am happily married to my husband of almost 4 years, and loving raising our 3 littlies together. I read the book Created to be a helpmeet about 2 years ago, and alond with To train up a child, they managed to turn our perfectly unorganised life upside-down! And Praise the Lord for that!!!

Anyway, looking forward to getting to know you all!

Charlotte.

Hi I'm Kim.  My sweet hubby of 18 years calls me Kimmer Smiley  We have 3 precious boys, the oldest is homeschooled, the two younger are in PS.  I read here all the time, but I've never posted.    I often find myself referring to this site with friends, so I guess I'm learning a lot!

Hi Lena, I'm from Alaska... so I know cold too. Smiley

Wow Alaska Shocked, have you always lived there. I don't know if I could handle that much cold.
These few months of winter really give me the blues. Sad
I read your post on CLO, I'm sooo going to try that. Grin

No, we  haven't always lived here...  we moved up here on a trial basis... 8 years ago.  My husbands made up his mind, but I jokingly tell him that the trial isn't over yet.   Cheesy   The cold isn't really that big of a deal until it gets below zero.  Where we are, there isn't a whole lot of that, a couple of weeks to a month maybe each year, but the darkness in the winter is just about a deal breaker.

CLO's the secret weapon that works...   Wink

I'm Lisa. Hubby and I live in NJ with our five homeschooled children (four girls ages 13 - 7 and one little fella who will be one in March).  One of our dd's is a special needs child from China, all the rest are biological.  I learned about  this site from WTM and am a big fan of NGJ.  We're in a rural part of NJ, but it's still a liberal state.  Always looking for like-minded families...few and far between!

Blessings,
Lisa
P.S.  I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to knit (and I crochet, too!)

Hi, I am Stacy and my husband is Dan.  We are missionaries to Liberia West Africa but are currently home (in the midwest) for a break.  My husband is an evangelist and also does a lot of ministry in the prison system.  When we aren't in Africa my husband is a machinist.

We have 10 going on 11 children.   Our oldest is 15 and I am expecting in June.

I have actually been on the 7 x Sunday website for  years now but have posted very little.  I've mostly been a reader.    I have really enjoyed the great advice given here, I can feel the love that you all have for each other and for the Lord.

Dh says that this would be a good place to look for council as it pertains to missions and ministry.

We thank God for the ministry of the Pearls and have gleaned SO much from them.  We enjoy all of their materials and don't know where our family would be without there sound advice not to mention Mike's excellent bible teaching!

I have alot of question asking I'd like to do but hopefully I'll be able to contribute also.

If anyone is interested we have a blog about our ministry work in Liberia at http://loveforliberia.blogspot.org

Hi All, my name is Curtis and I belong to Cara (cecac) or umm...maybe she belongs to me. Either way we are married and have managed to have 10 children...so I guess that is a moot point Smiley

Actually, I'm not new to the forum due to Cara's involvement here. So, I have read quite a bit of what has been posted in the past. I'm looking forward to engaging in the forum discussions as I get time.

By the way, the airplane is a Convair B-58 Hustler.

Grace to you and peace be multiplied,

Curtis

P.S.  This is Cara.  It makes me absolutely  Roll Eyes as I sit here.  My husband up and puts his airplane picture on here in less than two minutes.  I don't even know where to start.  Maybe I can cajole him to put me up a picture soon, too.

Hi everybody!

My name is Patrick,  son of Cecac, and Kw_rancher, not a King of Israel, but a child of God.
I am a Christian Contemporary musician.  (I guess you could call me amateur. No training yet.) You can listen to my music on the website I have in my Sig.

So, I thought I'd introduce myself, since there was a thread on that.

Hi all! I'm new here, this is my first post. I hope this is the right section. I didn't see an area to make formal introductions so I thought I'd do it here.

I've been lurking for several days, especially on the women's boards. I'm getting married this summer and I've found some of yalls discussions and insights to be very helpful already. The topics here aren't really the kind of advice you find out in the secular world, but it's what I've been needing to hear.

So, yeah...just wanted to say hi and I'm glad to be here!  Grin

love,
Andi

Ahh, thank you to whoever moved my intro to the right place lol!

To answer the other questions I saw in the OP, I live in Austin, TX right now. I noticed that Rebekah said she's from Gallup, so I wanted to tell you I'm a fellow New Mexican also-- originally from Roswell.  Wink

I moved to TX for college and ended up staying. I still have some friends in Roswell but unfortunately by now most of my family has moved away from there so I haven't been back in over 3 years.  Sad

I sooo miss the NM sunsets and cool nights.
