NAME: BJ . It stands for Bobbi Jo
Age/location/job title: 35, Indiana USA, stay at home wife and mommy
LIKES:
Chocolate, nature, wildlife, camping, 4 wheeling, family and church activites, going to the $1 movies and the drive in movies if we are lucky enough to find one playing a clean family movie, learning about my Cherokee culture, missions work, meeting up with fellow Christian females, reading true stories and Amsih story books and ones about the old time days, the internet, acting in our church drama and puppet plays, and going to non pagan native American pow wows ( yes they do exsist).
DISLIKES:
onions, perverts, judgemental ppl, rumor starters, diarrhea, legalism, evilness, my dogs gas, those who harm children, and the sight of road kill.
Background:
Raised in a Christian home. Was born and raised going to the same church until I was age 27.
Got married in 1992 did not have kids until 2000. Got saved at the age of 3. But at the age of 12 I got paranoid that I was to young at age 3 to understand so I 'got saved again'. At age 19 I got a strong hunger to know more about God and the Bible so I then began reading the Bible more and searching and researching. I listend to good Christian radio and kept on learning. It took a long time but now I know the love of Jesus. As the result of abuse from a few church members as a child I was unable to feel and know Gods love. But those days are OVER! THANK YOU JESUS!
And I have to say this :
JESUS = FREEDOM
IM FREE! THANK YOU JESUS! IM FREE FROM LEGALISM! IM FREE! WE found a great church back in October 2005 which has helped us have a better relationship with Jesus and as the result WE ARE FREE!
FREE from the unrealistic guilt legalism causes.
FREE from man made rules and silly unrealistic dress codes.
I know FREEDOM through CHRIST and his love.
Oh THANK YOU JESUS for my freedom to be your child.
THANK YOU JESUS for loving and forgiving me.
Because of the abuse I went threw if it was not for Jesus I would perhaps be a pysco, drug infested, diabolical , evil , theiving, conniving, mean, unforgiving, vengeful, cruel, nasty pagan going straight to hell. BUT that is not me. WHY? because I have JESUS!
Thank you JESUS!
I LOVE YOU SO MUCH.

I love this site!!! I am a newbie
Just learning my way around. I found it through well t ell me . My name is Margie I am one of Jesus Christ's, the wife of Glenn, the mother of Anthony 13, and SusieLynn 5. We live in Delaware,(for now).We were heathens. I was born again and did what the Bible said for wife to do to bring her husband to be won to Christ. We joined a "movement" church , the Lord called my husband to preach on a mountain in WV, he started studying the Bible all the time, and had questions about some of the teachings of the church. We were led to listen to Mike Pearl's teachings, and then we asked a few more questions. We were indirectly told from the pulpit that we were not one of them, and we should not be there. We left and now my husband preaches to the people that we were before we were saved, and tries to encourage our brothers and sisters in Christ. We have seen great victory's that we never saw when we were in the church. We are so grateful to God for wisdom, and direction. We are kind of like missionaries in our own area. We have met a few Christians like us from the fellowship of NGJ, and it has been such a blessing . We LOVE to meet other Christians.
. I like reading everyone else's stories, the are wonderful. Hope to meet you all someday, either here or in our new home!!!!!!!!
your sister in Christ
Margie
for freedom, forever
Only one can make a person free from the bondage of sin
Lord Jesus Christ!!!!

My name is Diane and I'm married (14 years) to an awesome "command man," Allen. We have 6 homeschooled children ranging in ages from 7 to 21. Our oldest daughter now lives with her grandmother in another state, and she has despaired of ever finding a doctrinally sound church to attend. Guess I'll pass this site on to her.
I'm almost done with my studies to become a midwife and my husband is thinking about starting a plant growing business. I like to knit, play piano, milk goats, and read.
We are fortunate to be members of a wonderful (although very small) church right across the road from our house. If anyone is in the NE Texas area and wants to visit, PM me and I'll be happy to give you directions.

Hey Rebekah I noticed you saying in one of your posts (the one where a Guest asked about Ryshoni's name) that you guys were near bankruptcy... would you mind pm'ing me? I would SO appreciate it. We have a TON of medical bills and not a lot of money to pay them. We are near bankruptcy... but dh feels that God doesn't want that. I know dh would appreciate any advice.
Now onto my intro!
I'm Janet...mommyofeight!
We homeschool, have 7 girls 1 boy (14 down to 4 months), live in Sunny Texas, used to live in COLD Montana, we have 6 chickens, 2 cats, 1 dog and a few skunks and coyotes now and again.
My interests include: my dh
(who I just learned is a Mr. Steady with a little Mr. Command mixed in there!) , my kids!
, living simply, cooking, learning to sew (dd 14 is much better than I am!), learning to relax, I love singing (even if out of tune), our animals, learning to garden, I'm learning about herbs and natural ways to heal the body as well as maintain it, being frugal with dh income, and last but actually the most important... I am just now learning what the bible says.
I have been a 'baptist' for many years... but not really a Christian.
I have always just let the preacher tell me what God's word says.... it is amazing to read it now and say "Man, I never knew that was in here!" Truly amazing.
Hey, we are reading the Good and Evil book by Mike Pearl. I am amazed. Also listening to the Am I Saved... wow!
Oh, my dh interests include: his wife
, his kids
, fixing anything that needs fixin (he is amazing at that!), woodworking, relaxing, reading (he actually will read encyclopedias
), and I can't think of anything else.
We actually were in the process of putting away our computer. (due to mismanagement of time)
Then, I was browsing around here.. and I really hate to miss out on getting to know you dear folks.
Oh well, we'll see!
Thanks for listening to me ramble! I hope to get to know you as time allows!

This reminds me of something my family does when we have an ice storm (we live in SC, so ice storms are major happenings). We all get an encyclopedia, and sit in a circle and read, until somebody comes upon something interesting, which he (or she) will then read aloud to the rest of us. I know it sounds odd, but it really is fun.
I guess I've never actually introduced myself, so here goes.
My name is Carrie. I'm the second-born of my parents' eight kids. Currently, I do Accounts Receivable for my uncle's trucking company (although, this past week, the payroll lady was in FL, and the safety lady was sick, so I was doing my job and both of their jobs- fun stuff). I love to read, write, sing, sew, crochet, knit, cook, look at big trucks (my 'dream car' is a black and silver Peterbuilt, pulling a refrigerated trailer), and take care of babies. My mom and my sisters are my best friends. At some point in my life, I want to get married and have a bunch of babies, but thus far, 'Mr. Right' hasn't asked the big question, so I'm working on getting ready. I love Jesus, and I want more than anything else to follow Him.
Blessings~ Carrie

Hi all!
I'd like to introduce myself too.
I am a 24 y/o homeschooling mama of 3 boys (ages 6,4, and 2o months).
I have a wonderful husband who owns a rough carptentry business that I get to help with (all the paperwork and, yes, even the physical stuff too!
)
I love learning how to be a better help meet to my husband and a good mama to my boys. I also love the Word and growing by it in Christ.
I write articles that (after my husband's review) get posted on a ministry website (
www.likepreciousfaith.org
) and in a Wisconsin Christian News publication.
I am so pleased to find this forum because it can be difficult to encounter like-minded believers, even at church.
We love the Pearls' teachings and my husband has me order new stuff almost monthly (we pass it out like free cash!). This life certainly has been an adventure. I look forward to getting to know you all.
Peace be with you!

someone guided me here....
I am Deana, 33yr old and from the USA. I am married to a native Taiwanese (of the Atayal tribe), Luke. Luke is a pastor of a small independent Baptist church here in our area. We have 3 beautiful bilingual boys that we homeschool.....well, they are ages 8yr, 4.5yr and 2.5yr, so the oldest is "officially" homeschooling, but homeschooling is really from birth right? we are also foster parents to teens. right now we have a 12th grade girl that has been here fro 5.5yrs (and says she doesn't plan on leaving:p) and an 8th grader who is supposed to go home June 30th (mixed emotions, needs prayer)........our ministry website (which needs to be updated some) is
www.morninglightministries.org
we are praying for God to work in the lives of Christians world wide about supporting our ministry to children and teens. We are praying for a piece of land to build a dormitory and some outreach ministry areas as well. It is a big need here. you can check out
www.mlchome.org
I am happy to have found this forum. Here in Taiwan, the churches are messed up bad!!! my dh gets lots of flack for not following others and for not participating in their services and combined services (Catholics and Presbyterians together). To many doctrinal differences and dh just says that we don't need to fill our minds with that stuff nor do we need to compromise.
We'd much rather be labeled conservative than liberal.
Well, that's us.

Hi! I'm Aura. Actually, to be honest, that's my screen name--but I don't give out much personal info over the internet. I will say that I'm a homeschooling mom of four, 2 girls and 2 boys between 10 years and 10 mos. A friend gave me a copy of Created To Be... and that eventually led me here, through the NGJ website and then through welltellme. I've already posted a couple of times, but I thought an introduction was in order. I don't post often--I ALWAYS end up spending too much time on the computer when I start typing. But I love to read the posts while I'm nursing my little one. It's really refreshing to find that there are people who believe like I do and many times I've found things that will help me in areas I've been struggling with. Thanks!

Hello! I found this site through weltellme, which I found through the bulkherbstore (i think) which I found through NGJ website or magazine which I finally decided was worth checking out after God hit me over the head with the stuff I read in Created, which I got from my aunt, who must love me very much to give me such a treasure! So, my name is Amy, I am married to a WONDERFUL man and we have a beautiful 20 month old daughter. I am a SAHM and I love it. We plan on homeschooling (well actually we already started, didn't we?) and can't wait for God to bless us with more kiddos! I am currently enjoying learning about natural healing and I love to read. I am also learning about being a better wife and teacher/mommy. My husband works as a manager for a retail company and does some website stuff on the side. He is a nerd. I like nerds.

Hi! I'm Christine. I was introduced to this site by my friend, SagorFamily1611.
I'm 19 almost 20 the second oldest of five kids. I live in North Pole, AK and am planning on going to PCC this fall to major in Early Childhood Education. I work at a local Baptist school as a child care provider and during the school year I was also substitute teacher and janitor. I've also done private tutoring for two homeschool families for two years.
Umm, what else do you want to know? I love cats(have two), budgies(2), reading, writing, crocheting, and kids. Oh and I'm still waiting for Mr. Right, whoever God has picked out for me.

Is it too late to introduce yourself after as many posts as I have already?
I'm a 27 yr old SAHM of two GORGEOUS kids, Katie age 3, and Taylor, 6 mos. (boy) My dh is called by God to the ministry, and I am so blessed to have been chosen as his help meet. I recently read and finished CTBHHM and WOW what a change in our marriage! I can truly say it has become glorious, and my dh would definitely agree.
I am going to go ahead and accept that God has given me a talent for writing that I am still developing. I have had one article published in our local (state) church organization's magazine, The Torch. One was an article I wrote about my Granny who was the most awesome example of a Christian woman I could ever have hoped to know. It was actually read as her eulogy this past December when she passed away. I also lost my Granddad yesterday as a matter of fact. Please remember me in your prayers as I am still grieving for Granny and losing Granddaddy has been hard too. (Not husband and wife - my dad's mom, then my mom just lost her dad yesterday)
We live in Mississippi (M-I-crooked letter, crooked letter, I, crooked letter, crooked letter, I, hump-back, hump-back, I). I am originally from Texas (God's country, I always tease my dh and bil who are from MS). I have lived in MS for almost 10 years now, 7 1/2 of which I have enjoyed with my WONDERFUL dh.
I guess that about sums it up. I sound kinda dull to myself! I enjoy reading, sewing (still learning!), and I am addicted to 7xSunday! My best friend, AndysJess, introduced me to this website and welltellme.com. Thanks to Rebekah and Gabe for getting the ball rolling!
Hope to see you all around!

Hi Friends,
I am jillymom, or Jill, from MN, married to Eric for almost 16 years. We have 6 little people here, boys age 11, 8 6 and 5 months, and girls age 4 and 2. We are homeschoolers. We are outdoors people, hubby is Mr. Fit triathlete. I am lazy! I will do just about anything, though, if there's fun and competition involved! We tried country living for 2 years and just moved back to civilization this winter. Loved chickens, acres and big garden, missed family, friends, church and reality. We are people-people and isolation didn't work for us. But it was a good experiment and we're glad we tried it so we could stop saying "someday".
Looking forward to meeting lots of interesting folks!

Wow, lots of interesting people! Welcome everyone!
We desperately need a moderator for this forum! You may notice some threads get ignored for a while. We're praying God will provide the right person and you all will be well taken care of...
Until then... it's great to "meet you" and we'll see you around.

Well, I am not new to 7xsunday...I post pretty frequently on here. I really have enjoyed this site and it's sister, WTM.
Anyways, my name is Jessica. I have been married to my lover and best friend, Andy for 8 years. We have 3 kiddos...ds, Drew (7), dd, Dylan (3) and ds, Cullen (10 months). We recently discovered that a fourth will be here sometime in March. What a shock!!!
I am married to a Mr. Command/Mr. Visionary. He started his first company last year and is already expanding. He is also in the process of starting one or two others. I am so proud of him. He is finally fulfilling his dream of owning successful businesses after many years of preparation.
We live in Vicksburg, MS. It is so beautiful here and full of history. It is a great place to raise children.
Andy and I are pretty involved in the music in our church. We both sing, and he plays the drums. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to sing!!! I have a few other hobbies...nothing significant. I make gorgeous bows for my daughter, if I do say so myself..lol. I love to read and write. I come from a family of writer. My older sister is the editor of a newspaper in AZ. I enjoy baking. We try to stay away from sugar, but when holidays come around...Katie bar the door (as my mom says)!!! I will bake for 3 days straight. My husband has even suggested I open a bakery.
I love TTUAC and CTBHHM. We work hard to apply those principles. I have some really great kids. All completely different, but great nonetheless.
OK, enough of an epic. I have so enjoyed this website.

Hi everyone! I am new to this site and have been blessed tremendously by the posts I have read so far. I found out about this site from the Well Tell Me site.
My name is Karen and I have been married to my husband David for 14 years. We have been blessed with two children. Our daughter Bethany was born in 2004, two weeks before our 11th wedding anniversary. We had a decade of unexplained infertility and 2 miscarriages before God blessed us with her. Eight months ago, in 2006, we traveled to China to adopt our son Daniel, also born in 2004. Our children are exactly 2 weeks apart in age - our daughter is older. A neat thing is I am exactly 2 weeks older than my husband, so it fits. Though to hear my husband talk, I must be months or years older (he likes to rub that 2 weeks in - a lot!).
I am the oldest of 7 children (3 girls & 4 boys), raised in a Christan home. My husband is the middle child of three (he has an older brother and younger sister). His upbringing was nominally Christian. We met at Bible College and were married the day after graduation. We plan to homeschool when the time for "formal" education comes around, but really just want to cultivate an atmosphere of learning in our home. We don't want to have to suddenly quit having fun because it is officially "time to do school". I love Debi Pearl's homeschool ideas CD. It's a fun challenge to find ways to teach without spending lots of money on supplies - it's good too, since my husband is half Dutch and can be "choosy" with how he spends money.
I have read "Created" and loved it, and am trying to apply those principles to my marriage. I am finding it a challenge because I am a stubborn first-born who did not have this example growing up, and I have had nearly 14 years of not being the wife God designed me to be, to change. With God's help, I will succeed and become a blessing to my husband.
We don't have a lot of family or acquaintances who understand why we want to raise our children the way we do, and that is hard. Actually, VERY hard. Most of the reactions we get are critical of our choices and ultra-defensive of the norm (ie: "traditional" schooling, health/nutrition, permissive child rearing etc...). I'm sure we're not alone, but sometimes it sure does fell like it.
Anyway, I guess that's all for now. Thanks for starting this site - it's a real blessing!

Karen, just wanted to say hi to you and give you a shot of encouragement. It's hard to feel alone in the trenches, but to have your husband at your side, and the Lord at your helm, you're never alone! I think the internet is full of wickedness, and even the good stuff can waste time, but if it can provide some fellowship and likemindedness for you and others, then it can glorify God, too. Pray for friends and neighbors and church situations, and God will give you just what your family needs. We get a lot of grief from some folks for our large family, homeschooling, dress standards, music, church, you name it, but we have a WONDERFUL church and that makes all the difference. But even without that, as long as I am committed to being Eric's best friend, lover and helpmeet, I am never alone.
Enjoy your children, love your husband, and check in here. There are some great mamas with you! Welcome!

hello everyone. I'm new to this site but am looking forward to meeting other wives and mommies here. I heard about this site when one of my posts was moved here from 'well tell me' website.
I've been married to John for 8 years now. He is an engineer working for a gov't contracting company called Harris. We live in Melbourne, Florida. He plays the piano/keyboard at our church.
We have 2 children-a boy, Jonathan, age 5 who loves to run, tumble, and be all boy LOL; a girl , Jessica, age 3.5 who loves to cuddle and dance around the house. We am so blessed by both of them.
We've been casually homeschooling since birth- hee hee with both kids but will "officially" begin homeschooling this September , joining up with our church's homeschool group. This is all very new and I'm in the "boy is there a lot!! of info out there about homeschooling" phase of life as a homeschooling family :-). I have not felt any other calling from God than to homeschool so I know He will provide and I'm so excited to see what He does.
blessings

Hi all,
Wanted to introduce myself. I am pretty new to this site. Lets see here I started with Created to be helpmeet, Found NGJ, then Bulkherbstore, then WTM then here. (Any thing I still don't know about that is in the family?? I'd hate to miss it) I have loved learning on all these sites. I am married going on 7 years with an 8y.old daughter Xandy, and 4y.old Daughter Michaela. We live in CO. and I homeschool and run a daycare out of my home. I am so glad to find 7xsunday because I was always so sad that religious talk was left out of WTM so I am glad to have an outlet for it here!! Can't wait to learn even more... I really appereciate having this as I am unable to attend church right now. God Bless!!!
Thanks
Jenny

Hi!
I'm Jeanne Marie. Wife of 21 yrs to Leo. We have 4 homeschooled boys; Ethan 18, Everett 16, Eli 11, and Ezra 5. (advanced their ages slightly.) We all love JESUS, and
relationships
are our family's first priority. REALLY!
We'd love to hear from you personally - so don't be shy! Or see you around on posts....what a huge blessing this is! What a wonderful vehicle to advance The Kingdom of God in the earth! And won't Heaven be so AWESOME?! We'll all be able to just sit down on a golden curb and chat...take walks on the shore of the crystal sea together, and maybe even do some fishing! Or whatever we like! And no time limits! I know we'll be together, so we might as well start getting to know one another better now...right? Father God will have His magnificent plan revealed, and Jesus will have his most earnest prayer answered. We'll all be ONE! GLORY TO GOD!!!
Let everything in The Church be done to EDIFICATION - i.e. building up!

Hello everyone, it is great to be here.
I live in the Seattle area (where we love the rain and only visitors use umbrellas
) and I am a happy help-meet to my adoring husband and grateful to homeschool our two boys.
My favorite activities are playing family games, snuggling with my husband and kids in our jammies, reading, painting, scrapbooking, cleaning, cooking, gardening, singing, writing poetry, wrapping & giving gifts, novice sewing, playing golf (just beginning), ...wow...if I keep going it will sound like a new verse to "My Favorite Things".
Hope I will prove to be a valuable member here!
Looking forward to getting to know some of you!
