First we heard about the homeschool problems in Germany, and now I was just reading about the commonly occurring infanticide.  I found this article horrifying.  Please pray that God will work a miracle in Germany.

UNBELIEVEABLE, but true, - on Thurs. the state of New Hampshire senate will be voting, and expected to pass, a law granting civil unions to homosexuals.  It passed the house a few weeks ago, and the governor has announced he will sign it into law.  The state of NH was not to long ago considered one of the most conservative in the country.  SO, please pray that the huge numbers of homeschoolers and others expected to descend on the capital on Thurs. will influence the senate to vote against this bill. 

This will be the fourth sate to have civil unions, plus gay marriage being legal in Massachusetts.  Just a couple years ago, NH lawmakers strengthened the law which would prevent our state from having to recognize marriages made in other states that were not legal in NH (just because of the Mass. gay marriage law.)  We must be more vigilant about these issues.  It is mind boggling how quickly things can change.

Here in WY there is a bill being voted on Friday 1-30-09 to make it legal for a CPM to practice. The bill is SF141. Please pray we are able to have homebirths again in our state. If you live in WY PM me for the Senators to contact and ask them to vote for this bill.
